Here at Bags-O-Craft we print t-shirts using two different methods. The first is using vinyl which is usually one colour and is the most economic method for customers who require a printed T-shirt for a one-off use, like a Hen or Stag Night to enhance a fancy dress outfit or for a specific event. The other, Sublimation Printing, uses a full colour printing process and is more permanent.
Vinyl printed t-shirts are produced by designing a graphic on the computer and cutting the image out of vinyl, in reverse, using the cutting machine. The vinyl is then laid down in position on the garment and pressed with a heat press at around 160 degrees.
For one or two colour print logos or images this is a less expensive way of producing t-shirts for your event as you can provide the actual shirts for printing which ensures you get the style, and size, of shirt you want.
Above are examples of vinyl printed shirts we have printed for clients.
Sublimation printing is a process that uses heat and pressure to turn ink from a solid dye to a gas, bypassing the liquid stage. At this stage is attaches itself to the polyester content of the surface of the item being printed. The image itself is then part of the printed garment or article.
Sublimation t-shirts can be washed, inside out, at 40 degrees and the image will last a long time.
We will supply the shirt for this process, they are good quality and available in white as plain style, ladies fitted shirts or polo shirts.
